Devotionals

Picture
God Pause is a daily devotion that comes from Luther Seminary. It is a daily devotion that can be mailed right to your email or you can visit the site to read it daily. God Pause follows the Revised Common Lectionary (RCL) readings so they will differ from what we use here at Hope, however they are great devotionals that are certainly worth checking out. To see what a God Pause devotional is like or to subscribe to the daily emails, click on the God Pause picture above.

Living in God's Story is a daily devotional that focuses specifically on the Narrative Lectionary. Like God Pause, you can visit the website daily or you can subscribe which will allow you to have the devotion sent daily to your email. If you would like to take a look at the devotional from Living in God's Story, please click on the image above.

Facebook Prayers

We live in a world that is consumed by social media, but what if social media could actually help us to pray for our family and friends? This simple activity gives us an idea of how we can use social media to tie together our friends and family with our own faith life.

Come, Holy Spirit

As we think about our youth who are being confirmed this fall, a time when the Spirit is surely present, it is a good reminder to think about where the Spirit is present in our own lives. This activity will guide you through some reflections and stories to help see where the Spirit may be working in your own life.
