3 Year Old Stepping Stone -
Gift: Prayer Pillow Tuesday, October 27 at 6 p.m. Online Prayer is something that is crucial to everyone’s faith life. What ways are you teaching your children to pray? Did you know that even the smallest children can create a routine of prayer at a young age? If you haven’t started saying prayers at Bedtime, what better time to start? Join us as we share a class together about prayer and learn some new ways to make family prayers a part of your daily life. Each three year old will receive a special prayer pillow that will help you kick off your new prayer habits! Due to Covid-19 our Stepping Stones program has moved 100% online this year. This will give us a longer amount of time to teach our class. Each class will begin with 30 minutes of interactive activities for children and their parents and be followed up with a 30 minute conversation with parents to help develop a new family routine. Pre-registration is required and a class packet will need to be picked up at the church. (These will become available after you register for the class) |
4 and 5 Year Old Stepping Stone -
Gift: SPARK Story Bible Tuesday, November 10 at 6 p.m. Online Knowing and understanding Bible Stories is so important in a child’s life that we have two Stepping Stones events devoted to this while children are still in preschool! All children who are 4 and 5 but not yet in Kindergarten (and any lower elementary children who do not yet have a spark story bible) are encouraged to join us for a class on how reading Bible Stories as part of your regular routine can make a big difference in your child’s life. Everyone who attends will receive their own Spark Story Bible, the same bible that we read in Sunday School! This class will include 30 minutes of hands on teaching and participation for students and their families, followed by a 30 minute discussion and teaching just for parents. |
Kindergarten Stepping Stone

These and many more questions will be explored in our interactive class. All children will receive their very own copy of the Apostle’s Creed in a fun illustrated copy! This class will take place online with 30 minutes of hands on instruction for children and their families, followed by 30 minutes of teaching and discussion just for parents. |
Sunday School at Hope is offered for children ages 3 through 7th grade and typically follows the Bozeman School District schedule. This year, we will begin Sunday School on September 10th.
Our Sunday School program begins with the children in worship at 10:30. Then following a special children's message, they are dismissed to go to either music or their classrooms depending on the week. On the 4th Sunday of each month we encourage families to worship together. In order to help our teachers also have this opportunity, there is no Sunday School on the 4th Sunday of each month. This service is led by our Youth Band and will typically try to incorporate more family friend portions. We do understand that for families with younger children this can become a challenge. As a result, we make sure that our nursery is staffed to provide care for your children should you choose to utilize that option. To the right you will find a schedule of when Sunday School will NOT be held along with special dates to be aware of. If you have any questions about Sunday School or would like to help with Sunday School, please contact Meredith Johnson (meredithannjohnson@yahoo.com). |
Sunday School in person is taking a year off due to concerns surrounding Covid-19. We hope to be back in full swing in 2021-2022!
